Training Calendar is a training plan app run by Adam Yonley for the athletes they coach. This policy explains what information the app keeps, why, and how you can have it removed. Questions: adam@yonleyrunning.com.
What we collect
- Your name, as entered by your coach.
- Your training plan: workouts your coach schedules for you and notes attached to them.
- Completed workouts from Garmin, only if you choose to connect your Garmin account: date and start time, activity type and title, distance, duration, pace or speed, heart rate (average and maximum), elevation gain, cadence, calories, power, lap splits, and the name of the device that recorded it.
- Garmin connection details: your Garmin user ID and the access tokens Garmin issues so the app can receive your workouts.
- Workouts you send to Garmin: a record of the date you tapped Send to Garmin.
We do not keep GPS routes or maps. Garmin activity files can contain location data; the app reads the summary numbers and lap splits from each file and does not store the file or its locations. We do not collect sleep, stress, menstrual, or other health data.
How we use it
- To show you your training calendar and the workouts you've completed.
- To let your coach see your plan next to what you actually did, so they can adjust your training.
- To send scheduled workouts to your Garmin device when you ask.
We don't sell your information, show you ads, or use it for anything other than coaching you.
Who can see it
- You, through your private link.
- Your coach, through the password-protected coach view.
- Service providers that run the app: Netlify hosts the app and stores its data. Garmin provides your workout data when you connect your account, under Garmin's own privacy policy.
We share information with anyone else only if the law requires it.
Your private link
Your calendar opens from a private link only you and your coach have. Anyone with the link can see your plan and completed workouts, so don't share it. If it gets out, ask your coach to reset it; the old link stops working immediately.
Your choices
- Disconnect Garmin at any time with the Disconnect button in the app, or from your Garmin Connect account settings. New workouts stop arriving and Garmin is told to revoke the app's access.
- Download your data with Export completed workouts in the app.
- Delete your data: ask your coach or email adam@yonleyrunning.com. Removing you from the app deletes your plan, your completed workouts and your Garmin connection.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you're coached through the app. When you leave or ask us to delete it, it's removed from the app's storage.
Young athletes
If an athlete is under 13, we connect Garmin only with a parent or guardian's consent, and a parent can ask us to review or delete their child's information at any time using the contact above.
Security
The app is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Coach access requires a password. Garmin tokens and data are kept in the app's private storage and are never shown in the app.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and let athletes know about any important change.
